    Forensic Science Summer Programs

Why Should I Take a Forensic Science Program?

Are you fascinated by whodunits? If so, a forensics summer program could put you on the path to solving all kinds of mysteries, whether it’s at a crime scene or in the lab working on forensic anthropology. You’ll be learning about chemistry and pathology as you try to solve all kinds of medical enigmas. Take steps toward becoming a forensic scientist as you learn building blocks such as biology, physics, pharmacology, statistics, computer modeling and criminal justice. Students are also exposed to forensics specialties, including ballistics, forensic engineering, toxicology, digital and multimedia sciences. Some forensics programs are as short as a week, others last are longer and may offer college credit. Many are on college campuses where you’ll get to experience dorm life, but they also offer virtual opportunities. Forensics are a fascinating sector of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) that students can study alongside top-notch faculty and similarly passionate peers.
